Tokuma Nishioka

Tokuma Nishioka is a Japanese actor and voice actor. He was born on October 5, 1946, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. His career began in theater; after graduating from the Literature Department of Tamagawa University, he joined the prestigious theater company Bungakuza in 1970. He remained with the company for approximately a decade before leaving in 1979 to broaden his career to include television dramas and films.
While Nishioka is primarily known for his extensive live-action work, which includes a role in the famous television drama Tokyo Love Story, he has also contributed his voice to several animated and special effects projects. His most prominent voice role is that of the character Father of Ultra (Ultra no Chichi) in the Ultraman franchise. He voiced this character in the television series Ultraman Mebius in 2006, as well as in subsequent films like Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends The Movie and Ultraman Zero The Movie: Super Deciding Fight!. He later reprised the role for the film Ultraman Geed The Movie: Connect the Wishes! in 2018.
In 2022, Nishioka participated in a unique pair of animated films, Kimi o Aishita Hitori no Boku e and Boku ga Aishita Subete no Kimi e. In both films, he provided the voice for the older version of the protagonist, Koyomi Takasaki, who is known as Koyomi Hidaka in the former. His other voice acting credit includes a role in the 2005 animated film The Prince of Tennis: The Two Samurai The First Game.
