Monique Burias Shi is an American voice actor and singer known for her work in anime dubbing. She provided the English voice for the character Lunatic in the 2022 anime series Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall. Her performance as Lunatic, the avatar of the artificial intelligence Artemis, is heard in seven episodes of the series. The character is a primary antagonist in the show, portrayed as a whimsical yet cruel entity intent on humanity's destruction.

Shi's path to voice acting is rooted in a formal education in theatre. She is a first-generation Filipino-Chinese American who earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Acting from Cal State Fullerton, graduating cum laude. During her time there, she trained in the Stanislavsky method under the instruction of Svetlana Efremova. Prior to focusing on voiceover, she built experience in on-camera television and film work, as well as national commercials, after being scouted by her first talent agency. Her background also includes extensive vocal training and performance, with early experience singing in choirs and musical theatre throughout middle and high school.

The transition to voice acting as a primary focus occurred for Shi during the pandemic. Drawing on her acting foundation and vocal training, she invested in specialized voiceover classes, built a professional home studio, and recorded demo reels, which eventually led to signing with a voiceover agency. Her professional approach includes researching each project for cultural context and tone, and consistently warming up her voice before recording.
