Kohsuke Tanabe is a Japanese voice actor from Tokyo, born on February 3rd. He is affiliated with the talent agency Aoni Production. Before entering the entertainment industry, Tanabe worked as a police officer, a career he shifted away from after a friend encouraged him to pursue voice acting based on their positive assessment of his voice. He received his acting training at the Human Academy.

Tanabe's career encompasses a variety of roles in anime and video games. In anime, he is known for his work in several long-running and popular series. He has had guest roles in major productions such as the 2005 series of Doraemon, One Piece, and the final season of Attack on Titan. He is also part of the cast for series like Mashle: Magic and Muscles and Fire Force. In the anime Fairy Ranmaru, he provided the voice for the character Homura Hoterasu, one of the fairy youths tasked with a mission in the human world. His role in the Pokémon franchise includes voicing the character Jil, a member of the antagonist group the Explorers, in the series Pokémon Horizons: The Series. He has also voiced the character Zirc in other Pokémon-related media.
