Mayu Hotta is a Japanese actress and voice actress born on April 2, 1998, in Shiga Prefecture, Japan. She began her entertainment career after being selected for the WOWOW Drama Award at the Amuse agency's Audition Festival in 2014, making her acting debut the following year. Prior to entering the industry, she trained in ballet for approximately ten years, from the age of six.
While Hotta is primarily known for her extensive work in live-action television dramas and films, she made her debut as a voice actor in 2022. Her first and most prominent voice acting role to date is as the lead character, Tamaki Tsuru, in the animated film Blue Thermal.
