Maika Takai is a Japanese voice actress affiliated with the agency Mausu Promotion. She was born on August 18, 1993, in Tokushima Prefecture. Her path to a voice acting career began in her hometown when she participated in a local audition for the anime Minori Scramble! in 2010, successfully landing the role of Akira. She later became a graduate of the 27th term of Mausu Promotion's attached training school and joined the agency in 2014.

Takai's career includes a range of roles in both anime and video games. In television animation, her early work included the role of Rosie Rabbit in Paboo & Mojies in 2012. She gained further recognition for her role as Yuka Komachi in the 2014 series Hanayamata, a performance that also led to her participation in the anime's insert song as part of the unit Need Cool Quality. Other anime credits include Oda Masumi in Aikatsu Stars! and minor roles in series such as The Royal Tutor and Anonymous Noise.

In the realm of video games, Takai is known for her long-standing role as Harumi Kajika in Tokyo 7th Sisters, a game for which she has also performed music. Her other game credits include Reika Momoi in Tokyo Harlem and Izumi no Kami Kanesada in Tenka Hyakken -Sen-.
