Yamamoto began his career in 2016, with his debut role being in the game Inu Otogi Soul. His early work included a role in the 2018 TV anime Tokyo Mizusho!, where he voiced the character Harada Soma. A significant early anime role came in 2020 when he was cast as Jitsuburo in Yu-Gi-Oh! SEVENS. He continued his involvement with the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise, later voicing Shinjitsu Netsuzo in Yu-Gi-Oh!
