Tsukiko Sakurai is an original creator known for the anime short Ichi Nichi Shite Narazu (Not Made in a Day), which was released in February 2021. The work originated as a story that won the grand prize in a contest held by the skincare brand Acneo and the novel-posting website Everystar, with the contest theme being Have you become beautiful recently?. The resulting anime adaptation, directed by Saburō Hashimoto and produced by animation studio Geek Toys, is a short film about adult acne that follows an office worker named Mitsuki who decides to improve her personal grooming after learning her boss is leaving. Sakurai is credited specifically as the writer of the original story upon which the anime is based.
