Erisa Kuon

Description
Erisa Kuon is a Japanese voice actress and singer affiliated with the agency 81 Produce. She was born on July 17, 1996, in the Philippines and spent part of her youth there and in Amami Ōshima, though she is considered a native of Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan. Her path to voice acting began in junior high school when an injury ended her participation in the track and field club. During her recovery, she learned about the careers of voice actors and was inspired by their dedication to their dreams, which motivated her to pursue the profession herself. She stands 153 cm tall and has hobbies that include planetarium appreciation, collecting shoes, mid-distance running, using a hula hoop, and sewing.

Kuon's professional career started in 2018, and she gained recognition early on after winning the Special Award at the 10th Annual 81 Audition in 2016. Her early voice roles included minor characters in series such as Harukana Receive, Kira Kira Happy Hirake! Cocotama, and Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. In 2019, she voiced the characters Jemima and Marnya in the first season of the popular anime The Promised Neverland.

A significant step in her career came in 2022 when she was cast as the slime character Surahappa in the fantasy anime My Isekai Life. This role was part of a larger project where she, along with five other voice actresses who also voiced slime characters, formed a unit called Surachanzu. The unit performed the anime's ending theme song, "Gohan da yo! Dadadadan!!" and engaged in promotional activities for the series. Following this, she was announced to star as Reimi Kuga in the 2024 anime series Train to the End of the World. She has continued to build her resume with roles in series like Shangri-La Frontier and the animated adaptation of A Sign of Affection.

Beyond anime, Kuon has contributed her voice to video games such as Kemono Friends 3 and Quiz RPG: The World of Mystic Wiz. She is also active in other areas of voice performance, including dubbing for foreign works like the live-action series The Healing Powers of Dude and the animated series Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go. In addition to her voice work in recorded media, she is a member of a kamishibai (traditional Japanese paper theater) group named Hanasaki Roman Musume.
