Miku is the original creator of the light novel series The Fruit of Evolution: Before I Knew It, My Life Had It Made (Shinka no Mi: Shiranai Uchi ni Kachigumi Jinsei). The series began as a web novel serialized online on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō starting in January 2014. It was later acquired by Futabasha, which began publishing it as a light novel under its Monster Bunko imprint on September 30, 2014, with illustrations by U35. The light novel series concluded after 15 volumes on December 28, 2022.

Miku is also credited as the original story creator for the light novel and manga series I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too. The manga adaptation of this work, illustrated by Kazuomi Minatogawa, was published in English by Yen Press in 2022.

The Fruit of Evolution series spawned multiple adaptations. A manga adaptation illustrated by Sorano began serialization in Futabasha’s digital Web Comic Action in September 2017 and later moved to the Gaugau Monster website. An anime television series adaptation produced by studio Hotline aired its first season from October to December 2021, followed by a second season that aired from January to April 2023.
