Miu Tomita is a Japanese voice actress and singer born in Saitama Prefecture on November 15, 1999. She is affiliated with the talent agency Amuse and made her debut as a voice actress in 2015.
Her interest in voice acting began during elementary school after watching the anime series Vampire Knight, and she also became a fan of voice actor Mamoru Miyano during this time. In 2014, she was a finalist in the Ani-Tan voice acting audition and won the Grand Prix at the Voice Actor Artist Development Program Selection audition held that same year. Her debut role came in 2015 with minor parts in the anime television series Himouto! Umaru-chan, including voicing the protagonist Taihei Doma as a child in a flashback scene.
Tomita secured her first major role in 2016 as Otako in the anime television series Please Tell Me! Galko-chan, where she also performed the opening theme alongside Azumi Waki and Minami Takahashi. That same year, she was cast as Yume Nijino in Aikatsu Stars!, which became her first main role in a series. She also narrated a commercial for the series. Also in 2016, she voiced Roberto Lewis in the anime film Garo: Divine Flame.
In 2017, Tomita experienced significant career momentum, securing leading roles in multiple series. She was cast as Gabriel White Tenma in Gabriel DropOut, performing the opening theme Gabriel Dropkick and ending theme Hallelujah Essaim with her co-stars. In the 2021 original anime film Hula Fulla Dance, directed by Seiji Mizushima, she played the supporting role of Ranko Takigawa, a novice hula dancer at the Spa Resort Hawaiians.
