Yūji Kaku is a Japanese manga artist recognized as the sole original creator of the manga series that inspired the anime adaptations Hell’s Paradise and Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku. His career as a creator began with serialized work in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump, where he launched the fantasy series Fantasma in 2013. Though short‑lived, it established his interest in dark fantasy and detailed visual storytelling. He later gained wider recognition with the manga Jigokuraku, which ran in Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ digital platform from 2018 to 2021.
