Darius Johnson is an American voice actor based in Los Angeles, recognized for his work in English dubs of Japanese anime series and films. His path to voice acting was built on a foundation in live performance, including improvisational comedy, stand-up, and stage acting. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree and began his performance career with work at the Sesame Place theme park, where he portrayed characters like Bert and Grover in live shows. This early experience also included touring Italy with a Commedia dell'arte performance troupe.

Johnson's transition to voice-over work began in earnest around 2020. During the pandemic, he focused on developing his craft from home, creating and sharing character videos on social media. This initiative led to attention from industry professionals, including work for Nickelodeon's YouTube channel, and ultimately prompted his move to California to pursue voice acting full-time.
