Alessandro Lussiana

Description
Alessandro Lussiana is an Italian voice actor and theatre actor with a extensive career in dubbing for animation, film, and video games. Born in Peru in 1980, he was adopted and raised in Turin, Italy. His professional training was rooted in theatre; he graduated from the prestigious Scuola del Teatro Stabile di Torino in 2006 after three years of intensive study. His career in dubbing began organically around 2005, as he started observing and then working in dubbing studios in Turin while still involved in theatre. In 2008, he moved to Milan, where he has since balanced a prolific career in both fields, working with major theatres like the Teatro dell'Elfo and various dubbing and video game localization studios.

Lussiana has built a substantial portfolio of voice roles in anime, lending his voice to a wide array of characters. He voiced the role of Wataru in the Italian edition of the magical girl series Pretty Rhythm Aurora Dream, which aired in Italy in 2014. In the highly anticipated Italian dubbing of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean, he took on the roles of both Copy-Chan il pappagallo, also known as Pichan, and an unnamed Ufficiale (guard).

His anime filmography is diverse and includes prominent series. He is the Italian voice of Haruki Komi in the Haikyu!! franchise, covering the character's appearances from the second season through to the fourth season and the Land vs. Air OAV. He also voiced Rojuro Otoribashi "Rose" and Royd Lloyd in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Eso in Jujutsu Kaisen, and Roujuurou Otoribashi in the original Bleach series. Additional roles include characters in Naruto Shippuden (Omoi, Taruho), Inazuma Eleven Go: Galaxy (Keenan Sharpe), and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, among many others.

Beyond anime, his dubbing work is equally extensive, covering a broad spectrum of media. He is particularly known in the video game world for his performance as the protagonist Chai in the rhythm game Hi-Fi Rush, a role he felt was perfectly suited to his vocal range. He has also voiced characters in game series like Deponia. His voice is featured in numerous commercials for major brands such as Coca Cola, Ferrero, and Opel, and he has worked on audiobooks and documentaries.

In addition to his performance work, Lussiana has taken on roles of increased responsibility. He has been active as a dubbing director since at least 2021, when he directed the Italian version of the television series Black Mafia Family for StarzTV. He also works as a presenter for live events. Throughout his career, he has maintained a strong presence in theatre, with notable performances in productions of Angels in America, The History Boys, and the one-man show Salām/Shalom, in which he portrays a Palestinian father.
