Mari Nakatsu is a Japanese voice actress and actress born on July 8, 1983, in Osaka Prefecture. Her birth name is Mariko Nakatsu, and she officially changed her stage name to Mari Nakatsu on August 8, 2014. She is affiliated with the talent agency Sun Music Production.
Her path to voice acting began in childhood. She studied classical ballet for over eight years from the age of three. At six years old, a period of illness led to her watching a significant amount of anime while recuperating in the hospital, which sparked her ambition to become a voice actress. She is a graduate of Tezukayama University.
Nakatsu's entertainment career started in the early 2000s with work in modeling and stage performances.
