Yuka Tachibana
Description
Yuka Tachibana is a Japanese author known primarily as the original creator of the light novel series The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent. Her professional name in Japanese is 橘由華. She began writing the series in 2016 as a web novel on the user-generated publishing site Shōsetsuka ni Narō. The story was later acquired for traditional publication, with the first light novel volume released in February 2017 by Fujimi Shobo under their Kadokawa Books imprint. Yasuyuki Syuri provides the illustrations for the light novel series.
Tachibana is credited as the original author for all related adaptations of her work. A manga adaptation of The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent, illustrated by Fujiazuki, began serialization in July 2017. Tachibana is also the original concept creator for a spin-off manga, The Saint’s Magic Power is Omnipotent: The Other Saint, which focuses on the character Aira Misono and is illustrated by Aoagu. This spin-off began publication in October 2020.
Her work has been adapted into an anime television series. The first season of The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent, produced by studio Diomedéa, aired from April to June 2021, with a second season following from October to December 2023. Both the light novel and manga adaptations have been licensed for English publication in North America by Seven Seas Entertainment. The anime series is licensed for distribution by Crunchyroll.
