Bruno Dubernat was a French actor and voice director, primarily known for his extensive work in the dubbing industry for over three decades. Born on January 17, 1962, he passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 60. After completing his acting training, he focused his career on dubbing, becoming a familiar voice to French audiences for numerous international actors and characters.

Dubernat was the regular French voice for several English-speaking actors, most notably Temuera Morrison, Neal McDonough, Taye Diggs, and Blair Underwood. His association with Morrison led to his most iconic role in the Star Wars universe: he voiced Jango Fett in the films Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, as well as the clone troopers. He later reprised his connection to the character by voicing Boba Fett in the anime series Star Wars: Visions in 2021. Beyond Star Wars, his other notable recurring roles included providing the French voice for Jigsaw (John Kramer), played by Tobin Bell, across the entire Saw film series.

In addition to live-action dubbing, Dubernat was highly active in animation and video games. He voiced numerous characters in animated series and films, such as Aiber in the anime Death Note, Cobra Bubbles in Stitch! The Movie, Lex Luthor in The Batman, Darkseid in Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, and Felix Faust in Justice League Dark. In the video game realm, he was known for voicing Killer Croc and Ra's al Ghul in the Batman: Arkham series, Brynjolf in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and Damus in Jak 3.

Dubernat also contributed to the industry as a voice director, directing the French dubbing for several films and series, including the acclaimed anime Death Note. His diverse vocal range allowed him to dub actors from various backgrounds, including Vince Vaughn, John C. Reilly, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Dwayne Johnson, among many others.
