Yukari Nozawa is a Japanese actress and voice actress born on October 9, 1957, in Niigata Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the Seinenza Theater Company, a prestigious acting troupe she joined in 1979 after completing its training institute. Her career began with a focus on stage and television dramas, including appearances in the acclaimed series Oshin and G Men '75.

Nozawa made her voice acting debut in the anime series The☆Ultraman in 1979. She is known for her versatility, frequently portraying strong-willed, dignified, or maternal figures. Among her most recognized anime roles is Nagomi Kinoshita, the caring grandmother of the protagonist in the romantic comedy series Rent-A-Girlfriend, a role she has voiced since the series began in 2020. She also plays the authoritative and politically powerful Seto Kamiki Jurai across multiple installments of the Tenchi Muyo! franchise, including Tenchi Muyo! Ryo Ohki and Tenchi Muyo! GXP. In 2021, she voiced the character Masago in the Star Wars: Visions anthology series.

Her extensive voice credits include Rhodanthe in Violet Evergarden, Lovis in Ronja, the Robber’s Daughter, Dojima in Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life, and roles in long-running series such as Detective Conan, Monster, and Zoids Wild. In addition to animation, Nozawa has had a prolific career in dubbing foreign films and television series, serving as the regular Japanese voice for actresses such as Julianna Margulies and Jane Lynch. She also works as a stage performer, narrator for television programs, and an acting instructor. Her background includes training in traditional Japanese dance.
