Goncalo Lima is a Portuguese voice actor born in Lisbon on May 22, 1993. His career in performance began in his childhood, with his first television role in 2005 on the series Clube das Chaves. He subsequently appeared in several Portuguese television productions, including Detective Maravilhas, Malucos do Riso, and Morangos com Açúcar. Parallel to his screen work, Lima developed a strong foundation in theater, performing in productions such as Tom Sawyer, A Volta ao Mundo em 80 Dias, and Peter Pan at venues including the Teatro Villaret and Teatro Tivoli. He also studied Musical Theatre at the Primeiro Acto school in Lisbon between 2015 and 2017.

While his early work was primarily in live-action and stage performance, Lima has built an extensive career in dubbing, providing the Portuguese voices for numerous characters in animation and live-action productions. A notable role in the realm of animated science fiction is voicing the character Jay in the Tatooine Rhapsody episode of the Star Wars: Visions anthology series. His voice work spans a wide array of projects, from family films like A Viagem de Chihiro, where he voiced Haku, to major animated series such as Hamster and Gretel, in which he voices Kevin Grant-Gomez. He also provided the Portuguese voice for Ken Sato in the film Ultraman: Ascensão.

Lima's dubbing work demonstrates frequent collaboration with various dubbing studios in Portugal, including Buggin Media, Iyuno Portugal, Pim Pam Pum, PSB, and Audio In. Through these studios, he has taken on a variety of roles, such as Reggie in Julie and the Phantoms, the title role in Tom Sawyer, and Mush-Mush in Mush-Mush e os Mushimelos. He has also contributed to video games, voicing the character Jian in Destruction AllStars.

A significant aspect of his work is in musical performance, leveraging his theater training to perform character songs and opening themes for series like A Princesa e o Dragão, Colégio Einstein, and Hamster e Gretel.
