Makiko Nagaoka is the original creator of the Japanese romantic comedy franchise Keiken Zumi na Kimi to, Keiken Zero na Ore ga, Otsukiai Suru Hanashi. The series, whose title translates to Our Dating Story: The Experienced You and the Inexperienced Me, began as a light novel written by Nagaoka with illustrations by magako. The first volume was published on September 19, 2020, under the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint of Fujimi Shobo. As of mid-2024, eight main volumes and one short story collection have been released.

The success of the light novel led to a manga adaptation. The manga is written by Makiko Nagaoka and illustrated by Noyama Carpaccio. It began serialization in Square Enix's Gangan Online web service on February 23, 2022, and has been compiled into multiple tankōbon volumes.

The series was further adapted into an anime television series. The anime, produced by the studio ENGI, aired from October 6 to December 22, 2023, for a total of 12 episodes. The anime adaptation was directed by Hideaki Ōba, with series composition by Hiroko Fukuda. Makiko Nagaoka is credited as the original creator of the story on which both the manga and anime are based.
