Krizz Kaliko, born Samuel William Christopher Watson on March 7, 1974, in Kansas City, Missouri, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and voice actor. While he is best known for his extensive music career, particularly his long-time collaboration with fellow Kansas City artist Tech N9ne and his tenure with Strange Music from its founding in 1999 until 2021, he has also established a concurrent career in voice acting for animated series.

Kaliko's entry into voice acting was a natural extension of his vocal talents and a personal aspiration. Encouraged by his wife and manager to pursue voice-over work, he began exploring opportunities. A pivotal moment came while hosting a gaming event in Los Angeles, where his ability to perform various vocal impersonations caught the attention of producers for the Netflix animated series Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy. A self-described lifelong fan of the franchise, Kaliko voiced the character Dinobot in the third and final chapter of the series, which was released on July 29, 2021. He considered this role a significant achievement and a "bucket list" moment.

Following his performance in the Transformers franchise, Kaliko was approached for another Netflix animated project. He provided the English voice for Leroy Smith in the 2022 anime series Tekken: Bloodline, an adaptation of the popular Tekken video game franchise. Leroy Smith is a kung fu specialist who enters the King of Iron Fist Tournament accompanied by his dog, Sugar. Kaliko's connection to the role was personal, as he had played the Tekken games since his youth. His voice work in Tekken: Bloodline is documented across multiple episodes of the series.

Kaliko's work in these Netflix productions represents a deliberate expansion of his artistic identity beyond music. He has expressed a desire to attend fan conventions like Comic-Con to connect with audiences who know him from his roles as Dinobot and Leroy Smith, indicating a commitment to developing this facet of his career further.
