Houko Kuwashima is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on December 12, 1975, in Kanegasaki, Iwate Prefecture, Japan. She is professionally affiliated with the talent management firm Aoni Production. Her given name, Houko, is occasionally misread as Noriko, as both readings are possible for the same kanji characters.

Kuwashima is recognized for her versatile vocal range, allowing her to portray a wide variety of characters, from young boys to mature women. She began her voice acting career in 1996.

Throughout her career, Kuwashima has accrued a substantial number of major anime roles. Some of her most well-known performances include Sango in InuYasha, Tomoyo Sakagami in Clannad, Claire in Claymore, Kirika Yumura in Noir, Filia Ul Copt in Slayers TRY, and Soi Fong in Bleach. She also voiced multiple characters in the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED franchise, including Flay Allster in Gundam SEED and Stellar Loussier in Gundam SEED Destiny. In 2022, she joined the cast of the adventure anime Orient, providing the voice for the character known as the Obsidian Goddess. More recently, in 2024, she was cast as Fengxian in the anime adaptation of The Apothecary Diaries. Beyond these, her extensive filmography includes roles in Azumanga Daioh, Fullmetal Alchemist, Soul Eater, and many others.
