Daiki Abe
Description
Daiki Abe is a Japanese male voice actor born on November 16, 1987, in Tokyo. He is 181 cm tall, has A-type blood, and is affiliated with the talent agency EARLY WING. He began his career in 2008 with a role in the web anime Penguin Girl. Prior to becoming a voice actor, he trained in tennis from elementary through high school and studied science and engineering in university, which he was attending when he decided to pursue voice acting.
In February 2009, Abe formed the voice acting unit SilverBullet with fellow voice actor Tomohiro Yamaguchi. The unit was rebranded as dischord in May 2011 and remained active until its disbandment in July 2019. His early career included various supporting roles in anime such as Future Diary (2011) and Magi: The Kingdom of Magic (2013). A significant early role was as Tomoaki Maeda in the 2011 game and drama CD series The Naked Butler, a performance for which he received notable recognition from fans. He is also known for providing the Japanese voice for the character Martis in the game Mobile Legends.
Abe's first major recurring anime role came in 2016 when he voiced Tatsuya Jono in the series Battery. He gained wider recognition starting in 2017 for his role as Kanji Ike in the long-running anime franchise Classroom of the Elite. He has continued to voice this character across multiple seasons, including the second season in 2022 and the third season in 2024. His other anime credits from this period include roles in The Irregular at Magic High School (2017), Tokyo Revengers (2021), and Akiba Maid War (2022). In the game industry, he has voiced characters in numerous titles, including Matsudaira Tatsukage in the Ken ga Kimi series, Alex in Ginga Force, and Chester in The Endless Dream. He also voiced the role of Nobuyuki Oguma in the game Starebo☆彡 88 Constellation Idol Revolution.
In June 2023, the voice actor announced he was changing his stage name from the kanji 阿部大樹 (Abe Daiki) back to his birth name, 阿部太樹 (Abe Daiki), which is written with a different character for "Daiki" but pronounced the same. He continues to be active in anime, games, and other voice-related media.
