Kaolip is a female Japanese voice actor known for voicing the character Retsuko in the anime series Aggretsuko. Her career in voice acting is prominently defined by this single, long-running role. Beginning in 2016, she provided the voice for Retsuko in the original short-form Aggressive Retsuko television series. She continued in this role when the series was picked up by Netflix and rebranded as Aggretsuko, voicing the character in all five seasons of the show from its debut in 2018 to its conclusion in 2023. She also voiced Retsuko in the 2018 holiday special, Aggretsuko: We Wish You a Metal Christmas. In the series, Kaolip provides the voice for Retsuko in her normal, everyday speaking moments, while the character's death metal singing voice is performed by Rarecho. Her work on Aggretsuko led to recurring collaborations with a consistent cast of voice actors across the series' run.
