Haruchika is the credited author and illustrator of the boys' love manga series Caressing My Hibernating Bear, also known as Mori no Kuma-san, Tōminchū. This work represents Haruchika's primary known contribution to anime and manga as an original creator.

The manga Caressing My Hibernating Bear began serialization on June 8, 2020, on the ComicFesta website under the Screamo label. It was published in Japan by Suiseisha under the Glanz BL Comics imprint, with the first tankōbon volume released on July 18, 2021. The series concluded with its seventh volume on February 18, 2025. In English, the manga has been distributed digitally by Manga Planet and Coolmic.

An anime television series adaptation of Caressing My Hibernating Bear was produced by Studio Hōkiboshi and directed by Kazuomi Koga. It aired from July 4, 2022, to September 12, 2022, with a premium version for online streaming and a standard version for television broadcast on Tokyo MX and BS 11. The anime was licensed by Ascendent Animation, which also produced an English dub.

Regarding the creative identity of Haruchika, very little personal background information is available. In an interview conducted in 2021, Haruchika expressed a desire to draw a fantasy story featuring non-human characters, which led to the concept for Caressing My Hibernating Bear. Haruchika described the story as being like a fairytale, set in a rural town where anthropomorphic animals live. Haruchika also contributed voice acting to the anime adaptation.

The credited creator behind the mystery novel series Haruchika, which has no direct relation to the manga author, is Sei Hatsuno. That separate franchise, which began in 2008 and was adapted into a manga, an anime television series by P.A. Works in 2016, and a live-action film, is distinct from the works created by the individual known as Haruchika.
