Masako Watanabe is a Japanese voice actor known for her work in anime during the 1980s and 1990s. She is most recognized for her long-standing association with the Tama and Friends franchise, where she provided the voice for the character Pochi, a timid and loyal dog who is the closest companion of the main character, Tama. Her role as Pochi spanned multiple productions, including the television series Tama and Friends, the movie San-chōme no Tama: Onegai! Momo-chan o Sagashite!!, and the later film Dayan to Tama to Tobi Neko to: Mittsu no Neko no Monogatari.

Another significant role in Watanabe's career was as Takeshi Hara in the soccer-themed anime Kickers, also known as Ganbare! Kickers. She voiced the character in both the main television series and a special, Kickers Special: Hitoribocchi no Ace Striker. Beyond these prominent parts, her other voice credits include a role as Chie in the Mirmo Zibang! television series and a minor role as a villager in the classic film Night on the Galactic Railroad.
