Description
Akane Ōuchi is a Japanese voice actress from Kanagawa Prefecture, born on November 22. She is affiliated with the talent agency Leopard Steel. Initially, she began her career in the 2000s under the stage name Akane Ueda and was a member of the agency Arts Vision. Following her departure from Arts Vision on May 31, 2016, she joined Leopard Steel on April 1, 2017, officially adopting the name Akane Ōuchi. She honed her skills at the Japan Narration Acting Institute. Ōuchi has built a diverse portfolio of voice work across anime, video games, and dubbed foreign media. In anime, she is known for her role as Ellen, a zebra student in the drama club, in the series BEASTARS, appearing in both seasons and the final season. Other notable anime roles include the young version of Yuki Asaba and various students in Kimi to Boku, an Engineer in ID: INVADED, and a nurse in Solo Leveling. She also voiced the character Yotte in Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld and had a role in the original net animation Garouden: The Way of the Lone Wolf. Her work in the video game industry is extensive. She voiced Alman and Teruru in the Taiko no Tatsujin series, and Erika in Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. Ōuchi has also contributed her voice to several titles in the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, including Shin Megami Tensei IV and Shin Megami Tensei IV FINAL. Additional game credits include roles in Waguruma!, Magica Magica, Youkai Hyakuhime-tan!, Alteil Chronicle, Black Survival, and Eternal Return. Beyond anime and games, Ōuchi is active in dubbing foreign films and television series. Her dubbing credits include the film The Killing of a Sacred Deer, the Ruby Red film series where she voiced the main character Gwendolyn, and animated series such as Babar: Adventures of Badou and LEGO Elves. She has also participated in drama CDs, such as Graal Knight Corps Quatre Saisons. Her personal interests include photography and collecting rabbit-themed goods.
