Aoi Takeuchi

Aoi Takeuchi is an anime creator, director, and screenwriter primarily known for work on original video animations, or OVAs, during the late 1990s. Credited as the original creator and screenwriter for the 1998 OVA Dennou Sentai Voogie's★Angel Gaiden: Susume! Super★Angels!, Takeuchi also served as director, original creator, and screenplay writer for the 1999 sequel OVA Voogie's Angel -Forever and ever-. The original Voogie's Angel OVA series, which ran from 1997 to 1998, also credits Takeuchi as director, original creator, and screenplay writer.

In addition to the Voogie's Angel franchise, Takeuchi is recognized as the original creator and producer for the OVA series Legend of the Last Labyrinth, released in two parts between 1997 and 1998. Credits also list the aliases Tetsurou Orita and Tsukasa Kudou in association with these works. Beyond creator roles, Takeuchi has served as sound director for various other anime productions, including the OVAs Tokyo Daigaku Monogatari (2004), Kyou no 5 no 2 (2006-2007), Holy Knight (2012), and the television series 25-Year-Old High School Girl, I Wouldn’t Do This with a Kid (2018).
