Christie Cate is an American voice actor based in Los Angeles who began pursuing voice-over professionally in 2011. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she was initially interested in on-camera acting before discovering voice-over after a chance conversation with a fellow actor on a set. She signed with her first agents at A3 Artists based on the strength of her commercial demo reel and live auditions, without having first booked any independent voice-over work.
Cate has built a career providing voices for English-language versions of anime series and video games. In anime, she is known for her role as Kyoko Yamate in the English dub of the series D4DJ First Mix, a role confirmed by multiple sources including her appearance in the episode credits and official dub announcements. Her other anime voice work includes roles in Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, PuraOre!
