Hinako Umemura
Description
Hinako Umemura is a Japanese voice actress and musician, born on March 13, 1991, in Tokyo. Her career began in the entertainment industry as a reader model and later as the drummer and leader of the all-female rock band SILENT SIREN, a group she co-formed in 2010. Her transition into voice acting was sparked by a 2019 joint concert between SILENT SIREN and the voice actor band project BanG Dream!.
Umemura made her official debut as a voice actress in 2020 through the Bushiroad media mix project D4DJ. In this franchise, she voices the character Tōka Takao, a member of the unit Lynx Eyes, a role she performs in both the television anime D4DJ First Mix and the accompanying game D4DJ Groovy Mix. This performance also involves her acting as the DJ for the fictional duo. Her work in D4DJ represents her most prominent voice acting credit to date.
In September 2021, Umemura departed from SILENT SIREN to pursue a new path, which includes her continued work in voice acting. Prior to her voice acting debut, she studied at Chuo University and was a finalist in the Miss Chuo University contest in 2011.
