Description
Tsuta Suzuki is a Japanese manga artist and illustrator. Born on December 3 in Shikoku, she has created works under the pen names Yogore and the circle name Muddy Pool. She is known for a career spanning multiple genres, with a significant body of work in boys love manga as well as involvement in commercially successful seinen series.

Suzuki is one of the credited creators of the manga series Heaven's Design Team, which she developed in collaboration with writer Hebi-Zou and illustrator Tarako. The series began serialization in Kodansha’s Morning Two magazine in February 2017 and is licensed in North America by Kodansha USA. Its premise involves a team of angels tasked with designing Earth’s animals based on vague requests from God, blending workplace comedy with educational content about animal biology. The series was adapted into a 12-episode anime television series produced by Asahi Production that aired from January to March 2021.

Beyond her work on Heaven’s Design Team, Suzuki has an extensive bibliography as a solo writer and artist. Her notable works include the series A Strange and Mystifying Story, Your Story I’ve Known, and the ongoing series Barbarities, which is published in English by Seven Seas Entertainment. Many of her earlier titles, such as Work In, Hand Which, and Merry Checker, are one-shot collections and serialized stories within the boys love genre. These works are characterized by a focus on mature characters, emotional storytelling, and a distinctive clean art style.
