Souta Murakami is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on October 27, 1991. His career encompasses work in television drama, stage production, and extensive voice acting for both Japanese animation and dubbed foreign language productions.

In anime, Murakami has been credited in a range of films and specials. He provided the voice for the title role in the Japanese dub of the animated film The Jungle Book 2, and voiced the character Nibs in the Japanese version of Return to Never Land. He played Kenta in the 2002 animated special Umigame to Shōnen, and the role of Kenta Yoshida in the 2003 film My Sister, Momoko. His other anime film roles include a classmate of the main character in the 2007 film Summer Days with Coo, and the character Kenji in the OAV series Beyond. He is also credited with the role of Young Simba in the Japanese edition of The Lion King 1½.

Murakami has also been active in video games, most notably providing the voice for the character Seere in both the original Drakengard and its sequel, Drakengard 2.

A significant portion of Murakami's voice acting work is in the field of dubbing foreign films and television series for a Japanese audience. He has voiced the Japanese versions of numerous young characters in major Hollywood productions. Some of his notable dubbing roles include Martin Swinton in A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Morgan Hess in Signs, and Elliot in the 20th-anniversary edition of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. He also dubbed the role of Christopher Robin in productions related to the Winnie the Pooh franchise, such as The Book of Pooh and Piglet's Big Movie, and voiced Mowgli in The Jungle Book 2. Other dubbing credits include Pierre Morhange in Les Choristes, Jim Hawkins in a DVD edition of Treasure Island, and Chris Chambers in a Blu-ray edition of Stand by Me.
