Description
Sachiko Okada is a Japanese voice actress born on April 5 in Shimane Prefecture. She has blood type A and is affiliated with the agency Raccoon Dog. A graduate of the Pro-Fit Voice Actor Training School, she was formerly associated with Pro-Fit before transferring to Raccoon Dog following the closure of Pro-Fit's management business.
Okada made her anime debut in 2005 with a role in the series Weibai Tianxiang (also known as Idaten Jump). In the ensuing years, she has built a career largely characterized by supporting and guest roles across a wide range of television animation. Her early credits from the 2000s include appearances in shows like Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora, Hidamari Sketch, Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight!, Zettai Karen Children, and Sket Dance. A notable recurring role from this period was providing the voice of the character Kendama in the long-running series Soreike! Anpanman.
During the 2010s, Okada continued to accumulate voice credits, often playing supporting characters such as teachers, neighbors, and relatives. Her roles from this decade include a teacher in Love Live!, a soup kitchen woman in Nagi no Asu Kara (also known as A Lull in the Sea), a customer in the initial season of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, and the character Maruta in Hyouka. She also appeared in shows like Shigofumi, Taisho Baseball Girls, and Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon.
More recently, Okada has been cast in the upcoming television anime adaptation of High School! Kimengumi, scheduled to premiere in January 2026. In this new production, which features a completely renewed cast, she will voice the character Ikue Sandanbara, a member of a delinquent girl group known as Omegumi. Her other contemporary roles have included a grandmother in Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, a landlady in I'm Now Your Sister!, and a Human-Shaped Curse in the popular series Jujutsu Kaisen.
