Toa Harada

Description
Toa Harada is a Japanese singer, actress, and voice actress born on April 2, 2005, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She is a former member of the Japanese entertainment collective Girls2, having joined the group in March 2019 and remaining with them until her graduation in August 2025. Her career began in live-action television, where she was cast as a lead in the tokusatsu series Secret × Heroine Phantomirage!, playing the role of Yotsuba Shizuki. Her involvement with the Girls2 unit and its related activities led directly to her work in anime voice acting.

Harada's most prominent voice acting role is in the television animation series Gal-gaku: Saint Girls Square Academy. This series, which premiered in April 2020, is an original anime based on and created in collaboration with the Girls2 group. In the show, she voices a character named Toa, who serves as the main protagonist of the series. The character is directly based on and shares a name with Harada herself. Within the context of the anime's story, her character is a positive and determined student at the Saint Girls Square Academy who dreams of performing on the Girls Arena stage. The voice role was a direct extension of her work as a performer with Girls2, with the anime being integrated into the television program Oha Suta, where Harada also appeared as a regular cast member.

Beyond this primary role, Harada's contributions to anime and related media have largely been through musical performances with Girls2. The group performed multiple theme songs for various animated projects, including the opening theme for the anime Secret × Heroine Phantomirage!, which was derived from her live-action series, and the ending theme for the anime GO!GO! Atom. They also contributed the theme song for the film version of the anime Mameshiba. Her discography with Girls2 includes several songs used within Gal-gaku: Saint Girls Square Academy, such as the opening theme Centimeter and various ending theme songs like Shine! and Ne!. To date, her work as a voice actor is defined by her role in this single anime series, which is intrinsically linked to her career as an idol and performer with Girls2.
