Eri Saitō is a Japanese voice actress born on February 1, 1973, in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with the talent management firm Accent. Saitō graduated from the Bungakuza Acting Research Institute and the Eizo Techno Academia, a vocational school for broadcast and entertainment professionals, laying a strong foundation for her performance career.

Her professional voice acting career began in the 2000s. She quickly established a presence in anime television, with early roles including the host in Nyanii ga Nyanndā Nyandā Kamen and Sakura Haruno in Suteki! Sakura Mama in 2000. The following year, she voiced Towa Himejima in Super GALS! and Yui Maejima in Cosmic Baton Girl Comet-san☆.

Over the subsequent decades, Saitō has built an extensive and varied list of anime credits. She is known for her ability to portray a wide spectrum of characters, from young girls to mature women. Some of her notable anime roles include Hana Inuzuka, the older sister of Kiba, in the long-running series Naruto and Naruto Shippūden. She voiced Nikora Nanami in Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch. In the Dinosaur King franchise, she took on the role of Dr. Cretacea. She also played O-Ei in the critically acclaimed drama Descending Stories: Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju. More recent appearances include the role of Hayakawa's mother in Chainsaw Man and Ayaka Sudo in The Gene of AI. Her film work includes a part in the 2007 movie JAPAN, Our Homeland, where she voiced Mrs. Aoki, Akira's Neighbor. In the OVA series Triangle Heart: Sweet Songs Forever, she played the character Tiore Christella.

Beyond animation, Saitō is highly active in the field of dubbing, providing Japanese voices for numerous foreign films and television dramas. Her dubbing credits are extensive and include providing the Japanese voice for characters played by actresses such as Jennifer Connelly and Thandiwe Newton. She is notably the regular Japanese voice for actress Sasha Alexander, dubbing her role as Caitlin "Kate" Todd in the series NCIS. Other prominent dubbing roles include Andie Anderson in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and Carol Bradshaw for Meg Ryan's character in the TV Tokyo version of Top Gun and its sequel Top Gun: Maverick.

Saitō has also lent her voice to the world of video games. She is known for voicing the character Kikyo Konoe in the Bravely Default series, including Bravely Second: End Layer. She has voiced the female version of the protagonist Nomad in the Japanese versions of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Other game credits include Operator in Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, a role in Minecraft: Story Mode, and narration in Hitman: Absolution.

Throughout her career, Saitō has been associated with different agencies; she was previously affiliated with Mouse Promotion before moving to her current agency, Accent. Her personal interests include jazz dancing, which she has listed as a hobby.
