Gregor Knop is a German actor and voice artist based in Berlin. Born in 1987, he pursued classical acting training at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Leipzig, where he completed his studies and received his diploma in 2013. His education also included a year at the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique in Paris and time at the Studio des Staatsschauspiels Dresden. Early in his career, Knop was recognized with prestigious accolades, including first prize at the Max Reinhardt Prize in 2012. His work as a stage and screen actor has been honored with a Deutscher Kurzfilmpreis in 2020 and a First Steps Award in 2024.

As a voice actor, Knop is primarily known for his contributions to the German dubbing of anime series. His most prominent role to date is Suguru Daishou in the popular sports anime Haikyu!! He provides the German voice for the cunning and provocative captain of Nohebi Academy in the OVAs Haikyu!! Land vs. Air and the subsequent fourth season, Haikyu!! To the Top. His other notable anime credit includes the role of Yokoyama in the adaptation of the video game-themed comedy series Hi Score Girl.

Beyond anime, Knop's voice work encompasses a range of German dubbing for international film and television. He has lent his voice to characters in live-action productions such as the film West Side Story, the drama The Power of the Dog, and the series Law & Order: Organized Crime, The Flight Attendant, and Black Lightning.
