Dorman has a long-standing association with the Resident Evil franchise, where he is one of the actors to have voiced the iconic character Chris Redfield. He first provided the voice for Chris in the 2007 video game Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles. He later reprised this role for the CGI animated films, voicing the character in Resident Evil: Vendetta (2017) and Resident Evil: Death Island (2023). His portrayal of Chris Redfield is a defining part of his career, contributing to the character's legacy across multiple projects.

Beyond Resident Evil, Dorman has extensive experience with performance capture and on-screen roles in high-profile film productions. He worked on the 2009 film Avatar, appearing as a tractor operator.
