Jeff Nimoy is an American voice actor, writer, and director with extensive credits in English-language adaptations of anime series. He was born on June 25, 1966, in Brooklyn, New York, and is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Before his career in animation, Nimoy worked as a writer and producer for the series NFL Films Presents on ESPN and Fox, earning three Emmy Award nominations over four years and winning once for his comedic work.

He is most recognized for his long-standing association with the Digimon franchise. He provided the voice of Tentomon, the partner Digimon of Izzy Izumi, in the original Digimon Adventure series and its sequel Digimon Adventure 02. He also voiced other characters in the series, including the younger version of the entity Gennai. Beyond voice acting, Nimoy played a significant creative role in the series, serving as a writer, story editor, and voice director for the English adaptation of Digimon: Digital Monsters. He also adapted and voice-directed the English versions of the theatrical film Digimon: The Movie and the television special Digimon: Revenge of Diaboromon.

His connection to the Digimon franchise has continued over multiple decades. He reprised his roles as Tentomon and Gennai for the English dubs of the Digimon Adventure tri. film series, released from 2016 to 2018. He later returned once more to voice Tentomon in the 2020 film Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, for which he also provided script adaptation.

In addition to his work on Digimon, Nimoy is well-known in the anime community for voicing Nicholas D. Wolfwood in the cult classic series Trigun. His other anime voice acting credits include roles in Zatch Bell! as Kanchome, Digimon Data Squad as Dr. Spencer Damon and Kamemon, and additional voices in series such as Outlaw Star and Naruto.

Beyond acting, Nimoy has had a prolific career as a voice director and script adapter for numerous English adaptations of popular anime. His directing and adaptation credits include work on series for Cartoon Network such as Naruto, Bleach, and Zatch Bell!. He also served as the voice director for the Netflix anime series ULTRAMAN and directed the English versions of the Stitch! anime series and the 3-D series RoboDz. Jeff Nimoy is the second cousin once removed of actor Leonard Nimoy.
