Ami Nanase is a Japanese voice actress and actress born on September 27, 1985, in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with no agency and works as a freelancer. Nanase began her voice acting career after joining the agency JTB Entertainment and later moved to Atomic Monkey, where she was based for approximately ten years. In May 2020, she announced her departure from Atomic Monkey to continue her career as a freelancer effective June 1, 2020.

Nanase has built a career with a wide range of roles across anime, video games, drama CDs, and radio. Her anime roles include Yumi Morita in Morita-san wa Mukuchi, a part she played in two television series and an OVA. She is also known for her work in the Girls und Panzer franchise, voicing the characters Katlas and Shizuko Hosomi in the final chapter OVA series and related films and games. Additional notable anime credits include Youko Nanase in Magical Warfare, Ami in Sacred Seven, and Mayumi Tanaka in Prison School. In film, she has appeared in Girls und Panzer: The Movie and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
