Nagomi Saijō

Description
Nagomi Saijō is a Japanese voice actor and idol, known for being a founding member of the multimedia idol group 22/7, where she voiced the character Miu Takigawa. She was born on July 25 in Hyogo Prefecture. Her career began on December 24, 2016, when she successfully passed the auditions for the 22/7 project and joined the unit. Prior to this, she did not have a strong background in or knowledge of anime or voice acting, but decided to audition as a personal challenge.

Saijō's most significant and defining role is as Miu Takigawa in the 22/7 franchise. As a "digital seiyuu idol," she provided both the voice and motion-capture performance for the character. Miu Takigawa is the main protagonist of the 22/7 anime series, which aired in 2020. Saijō starred as Miu in all 12 episodes of the show. Her involvement with 22/7 extended beyond the anime to include music releases, stage events, and variety programs like 22/7 Keisanchū. In 2018, she was a finalist in the 22/7朗読女王決定戦 (22/7 Recital Queen Deciding Battle), a competition among the group's members, and placed third.

Her work is almost entirely defined by her long-term association with the 22/7 project. Consequently, her frequent collaborators are her fellow 22/7 members, including Sally Amaki, Mizuha Kuraoka, Chiharu Hokaze, and Kanae Shirosawa. In May 2025, it was announced that Nagomi Saijō would be graduating from the 22/7 franchise after eight years with the group, with her departure scheduled following the release of the group's 15th single in July 2025.
