Uta Kawase is a Japanese voice actor and performer, known for being a member of the digital voice actor idol group 22/7. She was born on February 27 in Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan. Her blood type is O.

Kawase joined the 22/7 project in December 2019, which was started in 2016 by producer Yasushi Akimoto as a collaboration between Sony Music and Aniplex. She was officially introduced during the group's third birthday anniversary event on December 24, 2019. As a member of 22/7, she is involved in both voice acting for the group's anime and related projects, as well as performing as an idol in live concerts and events.

Her most prominent and defining voice role is Nicole Saitō in the 22/7 multimedia franchise. This includes voicing the character in the 2020 anime television series 22/7, as well as in related programs like 22/7 Calculation. In her role with 22/7, Kawase portrays Nicole Saitō not only through voice acting but also via motion-capture physical acting for the group's digital idol performances. She is also credited with musical performances as the character Nicole Saitō, contributing to the group's discography.

In June 2023, Kawase temporarily suspended her activities with 22/7 due to being the victim of a stalker. Her agency reported that she was resting in a safe place and would take time off from performances to recover from the emotional shock of the incident. Outside of her core voice acting and performance work, she has participated in related projects such as appearing as a selector for the MANGA PLAYLIST project by the manga app Comic ROLLY in October 2024, where she recommended eight manga titles.
