Natsu Yasumuro
Description
Natsu Yasumuro is a stage actress, singer, dancer, and voice actor based in Japan. Born in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture on August 15, 1981, she began her performance career from a young age, participating in musical theater through a local studio in her hometown. After graduating high school, she studied in the United States at Orange Coast College and California State University, Long Beach.
Upon returning to Japan, Yasumuro became a research student with the Shiki Theatre Company and remained a member of the renowned theater troupe until 2006. Following her departure from the company, she built an extensive career in commercial musicals and various stage productions, performing in works such as The Lion King, Wicked, Romeo and Juliet, Jane Eyre, and Galaxy Express 999. In addition to performing, she has worked as an instructor for vocals, acting, and dance at major entertainment agencies and vocal schools.
Yasumuro's voice acting credits are closely tied to projects connected to her native Miyagi Prefecture. She was selected to voice the heroine Jun in the earthquake memorial anime short Ima, Futari no Michi, produced by a studio in Miyagi to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.
