Eimi Naruse is a Japanese singer and voice actress, born on February 16th in Fukushima Prefecture. Before her career in entertainment, she studied at an art university in Tokyo with the aspiration of working in the manga and anime industry. Her professional path began in Akihabara, where she worked at a maid café, an experience that led her to the live music venue and bar DearStage. She eventually joined the idol group Dempagumi.inc in June 2010, becoming a prominent member known for her energetic persona and her association with the color yellow.

Naruse's voice acting career includes several roles. She provided the singing voice for the character Ringo Hoshimiya in the Aikatsu! franchise and voiced Anna Hodō in the 2015 anime series Doamaiger D. Her most significant role to date came in 2019 when she was cast as the lead character Hikaru Hoshina, also known as Cure Star, in the sixteenth installment of the popular Pretty Cure franchise, Star Twinkle Precure. This casting was notable as it marked a rare instance of a singer or idol taking on a main role in the long-running series. She reprised this role in several franchise films, including Precure Miracle Universe and Star Twinkle Precure: Hoshi no Uta ni Omoi wo Komete. Her work on Star Twinkle Precure led to her collaborating with fellow cast members Konomi Kohara, Kiyono Yasuno, and Mikako Komatsu, with whom she worked on the television series and related films.
