Massimiliano Virgilii is an Italian voice actor and dubbing director, born in Rome on March 18, 1967. He comes from a family with deep roots in the world of Italian dubbing; he is the grandson of voice actor Gualtiero De Angelis, the nephew of voice actors Manlio De Angelis and singer Enrico De Angelis, and the cousin of voice actors Vittorio De Angelis and Eleonora De Angelis. Before dedicating himself fully to acting and voice work, he earned a degree in law. His on-screen career includes a long-running role as Carabiniere Carmelo Russo in the television series Il maresciallo Rocca, as well as appearances in other Italian TV dramas such as Un medico in famiglia and Don Matteo.

As a voice actor, Virgilii is particularly active in dubbing foreign films and television series into Italian. His voice can be heard in numerous live-action productions, where he has dubbed actors such as Jason Momoa in Stargate Atlantis and Game of Thrones, Walton Goggins in Justified, and Martin Henderson in Virgin River.

However, he is widely recognized by enthusiasts of animation for his extensive work in Italian-dubbed anime. He has voiced leading and supporting roles in a variety of animated films and series. In the Lupin III franchise, he is the voice of Lark in the film Lupin the IIIrd: Fujiko Mine's Lie and Patrick in the television special Lupin III Italian Game. He voiced the character Ravus Nox Fleuret in the CGI film Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV. Another notable role is Duke Fleed in the 1975 anime film Uchuu Enban Dai-Senso (released in Italy as UFO Robot Gattaiger - La grande battaglia dei dischi volanti), which served as a pilot for the legendary series UFO Robot Goldrake.

His other prominent anime roles include Ryo Nagare in Getter Robo and Getter Robo G, Takeshi Nakazato in the Initial D series, Tagoma in Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F', Arcadios in Fairy Tail, and Adelphos in The Vision of Escaflowne. In addition to these, he has contributed voices to numerous other animated productions, such as Tokyo Godfathers and Goodbye, Don Glees!. Beyond performing, Massimiliano Virgilii also works as a dubbing director, overseeing the Italian voice tracks for various productions.
