He pursued his passion for performance at the Schauspielschule Der Keller in Cologne, Germany, where he completed his acting education. His early career was deeply rooted in theatre, with significant work at the Theater der Keller in Cologne, where he appeared in productions such as A Clockwork Orange and Das Fest. His stage work garnered critical attention, leading to a nomination for best up-and-coming actor by the Kölner Theatergemeinde in 2019. Bachmann's career is marked by a versatility that spans theatre, on-screen acting in productions like SOKO Köln and Wilsberg, and a comprehensive voice-acting portfolio that includes radio dramas, such as his ongoing role as Kommissaranwärter Tim Waller in the SR-Radiotatort since 2021.
