Michael Johnston is an American actor and voice actor known for his work in anime dubs, animation, and video games. Born on February 22, 1996, in Rutherford, North Carolina, he developed an interest in voice acting during his early teens, creating a DIY home studio to record for various projects. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of eighteen to pursue acting professionally after studying at The Second City in Chicago.
In anime voice acting, Johnston is recognized for his role as Wasabi Kawamura in the English dub of the 2019 animated film Ride Your Wave, directed by Masaaki Yuasa. He has also provided voices for several other prominent anime series.
