Pedro Almendra is a Portuguese actor and voice actor, born on August 25, 1976. He is a Bachelor of Theatre from the ESMAE (Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo) and has been active as a professional actor since 1998. His career encompasses work in theatre, television, and film, but he is widely recognized for his extensive contributions to Portuguese dubbing, particularly in anime and animated series.

In the realm of theatre, Almendra has been involved in numerous productions, collaborating with acclaimed directors such as Ricardo Pais, Nuno Carinhas, and Nuno M. Cardoso. He began his association with the Teatro Nacional São João in 2003, performing in a wide range of plays. His work also extends to cinema, with appearances in Portuguese films like "A Bela e o Paparazzo," "Snu," and "Bem Bom".

Since 2001, voice acting has been a significant part of Almendra's career. He is best known for his long-standing role as Brock, one of the main characters in the Pokémon anime series. He first voiced the character in the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl saga, including the television seasons "Pokémon DP: Combates Galácticos" and the film "Pokémon: Zoroark – Mestre de Ilusões".
