Saori Yumiba

Description
Saori Yumiba is a Japanese voice actress and narrator affiliated with the talent agency Production BAOBAB. She was born in Tokyo, Japan, on November 25, 1977. The opportunity to work in voice acting came through an introduction, leading her to pursue it more seriously after gaining experience in dubbing foreign television series.

Yumiba's career encompasses both anime series and a significant amount of work in the field of voice dubbing, known as "fukikimae," for live-action films and TV shows. Her anime roles include Kyōka Iburi in the 2007 mecha series Engage Planet Kiss Dum. She also voiced the character Izumi Yasaka in the 2019 animated film Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System - Case.1 Crime and Punishment.

A substantial part of her career is dedicated to dubbing foreign-language productions into Japanese. She is a regular voice actress for several Hollywood actors, most notably Keira Knightley, for whom she has provided the Japanese voice in numerous films, including the Pirates of the Caribbean series, Pride & Prejudice, Atonement, and Anna Karenina. Her regular dubbing assignments also include the work of actresses Zhang Ziyi, Jun Ji-hyun, and Leighton Meester.

Beyond her work in film and anime, Yumiba has also lent her voice to video games, such as the role of Rinza in Tenchu 4 and the character Seawasp Yunica in Gravity Rush. She is formally certified in Japanese dance, holding a stage name in the traditional Hanayagi school.
