Born in Turin in 1956, he graduated from the Scuola del Piccolo di Milano in 1981. His early career was rooted in theatre, and from 1981 to 1984, he worked at the Teatro Stabile di Torino alongside prominent figures such as Dario Fo, Roberto Herlitzka, and Paolo Bonacelli. He has also been active in radio since 1979, performing in numerous productions for RAI in both Turin and Rome.

In the realm of voice acting, Brioschi is known for his work dubbing animated series and films for an Italian audience. A significant and recurring role in his career is providing the Italian voice for the character Halu-Elu Dolu-do, a Bilusaludo lieutenant general, in the Netflix anime film trilogy.
