Freimut Götsch is a German actor and voice actor known for his work in dubbing international productions into German. Born on July 23, 1938, in Großräschen, Germany, he began his career in East German film and television after studying at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. From the mid-1980s, he transitioned to freelance work in the dubbing industry, taking on roles as a dialogue director, script adapter, and voice actor.

In the realm of anime and animated productions, Götsch has provided the German voice for several characters. He voiced Professor Gary Evans in the 2018 Netflix original anime series Hero Mask. He also lent his voice to the character Kiyohara no Motosuke in the 2009 animated film Mai Mai Miracle. Beyond these specific anime roles, his broader voice acting career includes being the regular German dubbing voice for director Woody Allen in several of his films from 2012 to 2016. His extensive dubbing portfolio also features roles in major Hollywood films such as The Irishman, Squid Game, and the Muppet Babies series, among many others.
