Gibis is most widely recognized for his long-running role as Shikamaru Nara in the popular Naruto franchise. He first voiced the character in the original Naruto anime series and continued the role in its sequel, Naruto Shippūden, and subsequent series like Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
